Step-by-step Instructions

You save more if you sign up for more than year however if you’re not sure about your website project or simply experimenting then sign up for a year.
 

Step 1: Begin Bluehost Sign up Process

1. Visit “www.luckywebs.co.uk/bluehost” (this will open Bluehost in a new tab) 2. Select “Basic” package 3. If you don’t have a domain name, enter a domain name under “new domain”. If you have already purchased a domain name from the likes of GoDaddy, Namesco, 123-reg etc, then enter your existing domain name under “I have a domain name”.  
 

Step 2: Sign up to Bluehost – with a new domain

• If you don’t have a domain name, enter a domain name under “new domain” and click “next”. • If your domain is not available, enter a variation of the domain name until it is available. • Under Account Information, enter your details including name, address, contact number and email. • Under Account Plan, select “Basic 12 months package” • Untick “Site Backup Pro” • Untick “SiteLock Security – Find” • The total should now be $71.28 (about £48). • This covers one years web hosting fees, unlimited email account, unlimited support, unlimited web hosting space and a domain free of charge for the first year • Bluehost is based in the US – for this reason pricing is in USD • Enter your billing information • Under Payment Information, enter you debit/credit card details • You can also pay using PayPal by clicking the “More Payment Options” link and then selecting “Pay with PayPal” option • Tick to confirm Bluehost Terms of Service, Privacy Policy etc. • Click “Next” to complete the sign up process • In the “Congratulations” page, cick the “No Thanks” link to continue • Once you see “Welcone to Bluehost” page, click “Create Your Password” to set a password in order to log in to your Bluehost web hosting control panel. You need this in order to install WordPress on your domain. • Also check your email for Bluehost confirmation. If you have closed the page and forgot to set a password, open the Bluehost email and there will be a link to reset your Bluehost password • Email rafi@luckywebs.co.uk and let me know that you signed up. Please Mention your domain name.  

Step 3: Sign up to Bluehost – with your existing domain

Step 4: Install WordPress

1. Log in to your Bluehost account and close ads 2. Click install WordPress under Website section 3. Click install button 4. Select your domain with www before it 5. Tick both options to set up WordPress 6. Give your website a name 7. Enter your username and note down the password 8. Click “Install” button 9. Once complete, open a new tab and enter your domain name 10. Login to your WordPress dashboard by adding /wp-admin right after your domain.
